As a 4-star hotel with almost 200 hotel beds, a spa area with indoor pool, two restaurants with bar, we have always endeavored to act sustainably and conscientiously towards our environment.
In the restaurant we endeavor to work with local suppliers, to process and offer regional and seasonal products.
In the hotel, we have developed standards for our employees on how we want to use energy sensibly and not wastefully. Be it in the laundry area, although the hygiene of table linen, bed linen and towels is our top priority, or the handling of rooms, ventilation, heating, water and electricity.
We also refrain from using plastic bath slippers and plastic bath caps in the hotel bathrooms and for the wellness area, which we have to throw away after every guest visit. This saves us several kilos of plastic waste per year. If you still do not want to do without the bathing slippers and/or plastic bathing caps, please ask at reception and we will be happy to give them to you.
Since 01.11.2019 we have been connected to the district heating of the Davos power station and heat our house exclusively with renewable energy.
We have said goodbye to our old oil heating with Co2 emissions of 175 tons per year and now heat climate-neutrally (0 tons / year)!
